C'è un unico superstite nell'ultimo naufragio del Mediterraneo. Gli altri 39 passeggeri sono morti annegati. La barca si è rovesciata in mare nelle acque libiche di fronte al porto di Bardia, nella zona orientale del paese, vicino al confine con l'Egitto. Le vittime sono probabilmente tutte egiziane. CAIRO, 27 august 2012 - A boat carrying 40 migrants attempting to enter Libya via boat drowned late Sunday near Libya’s Bardia seaport on the Mediterranean Sea. Only one person survived, who notifed the authorities of the incident. A search operation is currently taking place to attempt to find the bodies of those who drowned. Migration into Libya has been on the increase via sea, following a tightening of land border security in the past couple of months. It is yet to be confirmed whether all of the victims were Egyptian nationals or if other citizens were on board.
