MISRATAH, 07/02/08 - According to information received from Libya, the 600 Eritrean asylum seekers detained in the Misratah “transit centre” are going to be deported in the next days. We have been told that the Libyan police is asking them to sign documents. Today they refused to identify themselves, fearing that those document could be sent to the Eritrean Embassy in order to prepare their repatriation to Asmara.
